The West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is repairing water channels along Jalan KH Aja, RT 03, 07, and 08/RW 07, South Meruya Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district.

This is the realization of residents' submissions during the recess for members of the Jakarta DPRD

West Jakarta SDA Siub-agency Head, Purwanti said the channel repair was carried out to replace the channel as wide as 30 centimeters wide with the new ones as wide as 40 centimeters using U-Ditch along 476 meters.

"This is the realization of residents' submissions during the recess for members of the Jakarta DPRD," she expressed, Wednesday (10/25).

Her party deployed 30 personnel and one crane truck to maximize the work. It has been ongoing since September 25 and is targeted for completion in the upcoming December 2023.

By doing so, it was expected to be able to accommodate water in large quantities and water could flow smoothly in a bid to minimize flooding in the area.

"Thus far, the work progress has touched 50 percent," she stated.
